Challenger Door is seeking a full-time System Administrator in Nappanee.  This position   reports to the IT Manager.


  • Provides on-site and phone technical support of company’s computers and laptops
  • Performs hardware diagnostics and coordinates repairs
  • Installs and tests personal computers, printers, and other peripherals as well as configures operating system and other applications
  • Experience with Windows Server management and implementation
  • Windows Hyper-V and VM technology experience a must
  • A broad understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and IP Addressing
  • Participate in networking support, troubleshooting, and roll-out as necessary
  • Position may also provide basic support for telephony equipment and cell phones
  • Lead IT projects or assist with existing projects


  • Minimum of 5 years IT-related work experience or 5 years of formal IT-related education
  • CompTIA A+ & Network+ Certification, or equivalent education or certifications (College Degree, MCSE, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Good communication skills and level-headed
  • Detail-oriented and possess good organizational skills
  • Flexible scheduling and ability to work in emergency situations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive to multiple plants for service (All within 3 miles)
  • Must be dedicated and reliable

Some helpful skills to have but are not necessarily required:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Experience (Specifically, Epicor)
  • Experience with creating and modifying Crystal Reports
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
